Bean's Birthday

Today my big boy is 2!!! How exciting! Yesterday he kept saying "Happy" He had never said that so I kept saying "Are you happy?" (Duh?) He was actually asking us to sing Happy Birthday! Once we figured it out, he's making us sing it over and over. He's so fun. The whole time he's dancing and repeating Happy...Happy...Man he's cute.

Okay, here's a pic of his cake, I'm so proud of it. The Ball is actually a chocolate cake. I hope it doesn't fall apart on the way to the party!! He's totally obsessed with balls, especially basket balls (he calls them b-balls). He'll even sit and watch about half of a UK game...That's a long time for a 2 year old! We're raising him right, Go Big Blue!

Beware of the Trojan Horse

This is mot metaphorical! I accidentally downloaded a stupid spywear program yesterday and didn't know how to get rid of it. By the time Wes got home and took care of things, it had infected 273 files, downloaded 2 programs with out our consult and 4 Trojan Horse viruses...Virus scanner popped up this morning, it found 3 more!! AAAKKKK! Thank goodness I knew what I did right away and Wes was able to take care of it. Wes said it would have ruined our computer. Hopefully it didn't send out any private information. I feel like such an idiot...

Oh well, to happier things. Isaiah is so stinkin sweet! His new thing is to walk into the room, say "Mommy" I say "what" then he blows me a kiss! Ooh, Silas is giving kisses now...I love those first slobery kisses...There's nothing sweeter in the world.

Bean's birthday is this week! Woohoo! He can't wait. I'm not sure if he really gets it, but when we talk about it he says balloon, cake and "Open mine!" Loosely translated, "I get presents and no one can touch them!"...ahh the selfless characteristics of a 2 year old (re-read with sarcasm)

We are all finally healthy, Praise God! Now to get back to living life and not just surviving it!

My old Kentucky Home

It snowed last night. Not that much, 1-2 inches. It snowed most of the morning. Eliya prayed that it would snow alot. It's melting now. (sad face) We are still sick so we didn't get to go out side in it. Bean would have loved it.

Man, I spilled an entire cup of tea on the keyboard last night. Now some of the keys are weird. At least they're all working. I guess I'll take it apart in a bit and clean it really well. That sounds like a big job...

Wow, I just read this and it is the most boring post ever. Sorry to all of you who have come to expect more from me! Let's see, something interesting.....I got nothin. Man I'll be glad when we are well again and I can resume living!

Still sick, but not so whiney!

Man, after I posted Saturday, I took a 4 hour nap!! (Wes said that was not a nap, it was going to bed again) I felt great! Now I just have a terrable cough.

So, I just made a pair of really cute pants. They're wide bottomed black pinstipes. I'm about to go through my closet and start altering my clothes. I've gone vegan about 2 days a week (and cut out processed flour and sugar the rest of the time) and even with the holidays lost more then 20 pounds. I guess breastfeeding has a lot to do with it too. I need to get off my butt and exersize...eating healthy only goes so far.

The kids are good. I learned that if I leave them in a room by themselves with no TV it looks like I was robbed in under 10 minutes. Isaiah's still acting puny. Eliya threw up yesterday, I guess it was from all the icecream she ate (when I gave her icecream, I didn't know NiNi had already given her some erlier) she's totally fine today, still we are staying home taking it easy to let everyone rest.

Well, I guess I need to go refold all the clothes Isaiah knocked down! Here's a pic of my two brown haired beauties, don't know what's up with the weirdness around her hair, still, it's a nice oic!

I'm whiney and sick

Ugh, the kids have been sick on and off all fall and winter, I have managed to stay pretty healthy until today. I'm achey, caughing, tired and phlemy. Now I feel bad for my kids. If this is what their little bodies went through no wonder they've been so...not themselves.

Okay, it's making my head hurt to type. Bean is still calling me (I layed him down for his nap 45 minuts ago) and I really want to make a pair of pants for church tomarrow. Maybe I'll take a nap.

****WARNING, IF YOU DO NOT HAVE KIDS THE FOLLOWING MAY BE TMI****
On a not so whiney note, Isaiah went poopoo in the potty! He's been going peepee off and on for a week or so and yesterday he pooped! He looked down and said "Blah!!" with a totally grossed out look on his face.

Alright, Wes is trying to lay the wild man down (again) I'm going to head for bed, or the coffee pot, that's the same as a nap right?

OMG it's been over a month!

Man! Time flies! How I long for the day there will be no time, just good times with Jesus...hmm, just realized there are no smilies, that's no fun I wanted a big cheesy smile there...oh well!

Well with the holidays my blog (as well as just about everything else) went to the wayside. But no more! I will blog! Things have been fun around here, well mostly. Wes worked out of town last week, glad to have him back! Isaiah's finally getting over a nasty cold he's had for a while, but now the baby's coughing...come on spring!!

Speaking of spring, it's like 62 degrees out! I've been working on the yard all day while the kids played. It makes me so excited for my garden! I think I'll be making a box garden this year. Let me rephrase that, I think I'll be designing a box garden and managing the construction of a box garden and using the box garden to teach Eliya (aka, make Eliya weed and water the box garden.) So Really I'm excited to watch the plants grow and eat all the yummy veggies!

Here's a pic of...hmm...I'll post the pics of the boys meeting Santa. Are they brothers or what?
