You know you blog too much when...

You comment on something cute and your 5 yo says, "Why don't you take a picture of it and put it on your blog." Hmmm, I thought I only did this a little bit.

Have a happy Easter!

IT'S SPRING!

It is so friggin nice out! Eliya went to the park with NiNi and I took Bean outside while Snooty had his morning nap. I turned the compost pile-man, Marjory is looking good! There are so many fat juicey worms in there! That could be because everytime I turn it I chop some of them in half...can't worms keep on going if that happens? or is it just one side that keeps living...hmmm, now that I think of it it doesn't make sence that I'd have 2 worms...why would they reproduce? I digress...

I took Eliya to the library to get her very own library card last night. We walked in and I announced that to the librarian and she looked at Eliya and asked "Are you sure you're ready for such a big step?" Another librarian actually gave her the card and told her how important that was and gave her a sticker that said "I got my Library card today." She even had to sign it. She was floating. We went to Walmart and didn't get home till 10:30...good thing she's homeschooled! She was still so excited about her card, her new Easter outfit and of course all the books, videos and backpacks she got from the library she wasn't even a little bit sleepy. We went to bed and she came into my room at 11:30 (completely bright eyed and bushy tailed) to remind me I didn't come and kiss her. I told her she had to go to bed it was almost midnight!!

Weirdest thing I heard yesterday: "The awesome went under the dang roof!" My neice told me that on the phone after the possum they found in the herbie came out and crawled under the ramp. She's so stinkin cute!

Here's some pics of those weird little people who live in me house, eat my food, complain about it, throw it on the floor which I then clean up, kiss their face and wonder why I'm so blessed.

My stuff is so crappy, people won't even steal it.

This morning Wes went out to work and found the car door ajar. He looked in and our portable CD player was on the seat, along with some other odds and ends. The ash tray was opened and the visor organiser thing was unzipped. Nothing was taken. Or even really messed up. They were definatly the neatest vandals I've ever known of. They were looking for better stuff then we have, and thankfully, didn't get mad when they didn't find it.

I don't think I need to call the police. "Hello, could you send out an officer to look at my slightly disorganised car?" Plus Wes already put it all back. Oh, well. Hopefully now anyone thinking of breaking in realizes there's really no need. The stuff they'd get isn't worth the risk. The most "valuable" thing in this house is this computer and it's 4 years old. They'd be doing me a favor by taking this stuff!! Oh sure, I'd feel violated and have to file a claim with my insurance, but hey-I'd get lots of upgrades and a story. Plus all this belongs to God anyway. What do I have to complain about?

Eliya was sleep walking the other night. It was so funny. She'd been in bed an hour and was butt tired. She came out to go to the bathroom and instead of going back to bed, she walkd down the hall like she owned the place (this is breaking one of her rules-the punishment is losing pink mi, which may be worse then death-she really doesn't break this rule) jumped up on the couch next to me with out a word (agian-WEIRD) and grabbed a washcloth out of the laundry I was folding and started sucking her thumb. She was snoring-with her eyes opened-after a moment or two, Wes carried her back to bed. I felt bad because I couldn't stop laughing at her, but the next day she couldn't remember anything so that guilt is gone.

Ugh-Silas is waking up-I still need to jump in the shower. No mre blogging for me.

Short hair and toothless

I cut Eliya's hair the other day. We've been talking about it for months. We've been growing out her bangs and said that in the Spring we were going to cut her hair the same length as her bangs and let it all grow out the same length. We talked about it being cooler in the summer, easier to brush and clean, this was not a rash decision. So Saturday we decided to go on and cut her hair. We cut 8 inches-yes 8 inches of hair right off. We went to the bathroom to check out the new do and she went into hysterics. She cried that she liked her long hair, that people weren't going to like her new haircut. I reassured her, I told her that a lot of people didn't like their hair cut for a couple days. She locked herself in her room and wouldn't talk to me. I felt like Mommy Dearest-it was awful.

It didn't take long for her to come around-soon she thought it was okay. Then, Sunday, she didn't want to go to church because she was afraid people wouldn't like her hair, man this started younger then I expected. She did go to church, everyone loved her hair, she's come around. Here's a pic of the new short haired Goose. BTW last week she lost her 7th tooth!!

Bean has decided to be potty trained. This morning he asked for "potty pants" instead of a diaper. He's sat on the potty 4-5 times (no big events-unless you count flushing) and is in his second pair of potty pants...I so don't want to do this yet...

While I'm posting pics I might as well add my brown eyed boy. Isn't he the cutest thing you've ever seen??? He's starting to try to crawl. He puts his head down (like for a somersault) to get up on his knees-man I have to got a picture of that!
