Damage control

I went larve hunting yesterday. I think I got them all. Then I covered the damaged stem with dirt (that is what I read to do) I didn 't water them since it was the middle of the day and by evening the plant that looked dead was perky. I did use some miricle grow (I know, I know) but I really feel it's neccisary. So I have almost organic veggies...that's still got to be better then the alternative.

Anyway, we started school this week. It's so fun. I'm doing the most conventional things...it's weird. I love unschooling and Eliya does so well, but she seems to crave the look and feel of a class room. She's asked me several times this summer if she could go to school. I told her maybe but not for Kindergarten. Ugh. I know this is best for her and for our family and all she wants is the highlights of school, you know the first day, show and tell, recess, etc. We've talked about the down side and she's convinced this is what's best for her but part of me feels guilty. Maybe if I buy her a supergirl backpack and pack her a lunch in the morning she'll feel better. Actually that sounds like fun.

Well, I've got nothing more to say. I may need to do this later in the day when I actually have something to say...we'll see.
